About Arjun

Born 3/20/1973 in Asansol, India, pro golfer Arjun Atwal attended Nassau Community College, and studied Liberal Arts. He currently 
resides in Windermere, FL. Arjun 
turned Pro in 1995, and became one of the leading players on the Asian Tour. Arjun was the second Indian golfer to earn membership on the European Tour, and he was the first to win on that tour with a five stroke victory in the 2002 Caltex Singapore Masters.

Arjun earned his PGA TOUR card for 2004, making him the first Indian to ever do so. He became the first Indian player to ever win on the PGA TOUR at the Wyndham Championship in 2011.

Arjun started playing golf at Royal Calcutta after being encouraged to take up the game by his father, Bindi, at the age of 14.
